Trainer that can help you get to results 06/28/2007 Posted by yuppienomad A few months ago, I was deciding between trying on my own to get into shape or hiring a trainer. Meeting with Dan for a consultation made me try out the training. He was very knowledgeable, matter-of-fact, and goal oriented. Definitely not one of those perky trainers that are constantly bopping up and down, much more of a normal, professional guy. I've lost about 20 lbs with training and nutritional guidelines that seem realistic. As a foodie, that was particularly important to me! Dan has really been invested in my progress the whole time. Even while I was away for business for a month, Dan designed exercise programs for me to use on the road. While I'm working out with him, he changes up the exercises quite frequently to keep things interesting. He has a fun demeanor without being too overbearing conversationally, so if you're tired from work and just want to de-stress, he's very good about picking up your vibe. I work out with him at the RAC, which is a great gym. Never really crowded, the equipment is new, locker rooms are clean, and it has a spacious parking lot. All in all, I highly recommend Dan for anyone looking to work towards a fitness goal. I've tried out other trainers and really, by far, Dan's been the best. I actually enjoy going to the gym now! City Search Review Posted on 12/03/2005 Nine months ago I began working with Dan to help me achieve my weight loss and strengthening goals. He worked with me and within my lifestyle to develop an exercise and nutritional plan that I was easily able to manage. During these months with Dan, no two workouts have ever been the same as he is constantly adjusting the sessions to advance with me. The time goes quickly and I find myself looking forward to these unpredictable sessions. As an added benefit to the personal training sessions, the Agogo website makes it easy to stay on program through on line appointment scheduling, nutritional tracking, and on the road workout programs. As a frequent traveler, the total Agogo fitness package allows me to stay committed to my program wherever I am. The results have been great as I have lost 20 pounds and 3 full pant sizes. City Search Review Personal Training I have been training with Dan Maxwell over 3 years. From all that I have read about personal training, a person would not be likely to easily find a qualified personal trainer. I was lucky when I met Dan Maxwell , because at the time I would not have known a good trainer from a dangerous one. He has helped me rehabilitate a damaged knee, become more fit than I have been in years and lose weight I have never been able to loose before. He is knowledge-enable about nutrition and all aspects of fitness training. He has tailored workouts to my changing situations and by continuing to remain fit I have increased my quality of life. When I started working out with Dan Maxwell 7 months ago I
had already lost 60 pounds on my own. Having hit a wall I could not get past
and wanting to improve not just my weight but my look I turned to AGOGO. In
those 7 months I have dropped body fat not just weight! I’ve not only lost more
weight, I have lost 3 inches off my waist and now wear a size 33 pants! I had
comments on my weight loss before but now I get comments on how I look. Our
workouts are fun and energetic, the type that makes you look forward to your
next session. What started as a 6 time “learning” commitment has become 3 times
a week for 7 months that I don’t plan on ending! Without Dan’s professional
help I would have continued what I was doing and may have lost more weight but
I would not look and feel as good as I do now. If you want to get in shape the
